Grass is greener

2025 - present

Grass Is Greener presents the landscape as something physically negotiable. In these staged interventions, the ground is cut open, displaced, and reconfigured by hand. Bodies enter and emerge from the earth as if the surface were permeable. The images propose a simple but destabilizing premise: reality is not fixed terrain but a fabric capable of being bent, folded, and breached through intention.

The familiar idiom becomes literal. Desire to be elsewhere manifests as excavation. The horizon is not chased — it is tunneled into. Through physical construction rather than digital illusion, the work collapses fantasy into fact, testing how far the world will yield to will.
